DPNM Honors New Mexico Veterans for Memorial Day

Albuquerque, N.M. – The Democratic Party of New Mexico issued the following statement in honor of New Mexico’s veterans ahead of Memorial Day. Democratic county parties will participate in Memorial Day events throughout the state.
“Those who serve our country put themselves in harm’s way without any questions asked knowing that they are defending our country. We at the Democratic Party of New Mexico know our men and women of the armed forces and their families sacrifice so much and it does not go unnoticed. It’s important that we keep our servicemen and women and their families in our thoughts on Memorial Day and every day.” said Debra Haaland, Chairwoman of the Democratic Party of New Mexico.
The Democratic Party of Sandoval County will participate in the Sandoval County Memorial Day Parade in Rio Rancho, Monday May 30. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Country Club Road north of Southern and ends at Veterans Monument Park in Rio Rancho.
 
The Democratic Party of Colfax County will be present at the Memorial Day Candlelight Vigil at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Eagle Nest on Monday, May 30 which begins at 6 p.m.
