TODAY: DPNM Kicks Off Tribal & Rural Community Initiative at Democratic Candidate Forum in Navajo Country

Democratic Party of New Mexico (DPNM) Chairwoman Debra Haaland will kick of DPNM’s Rural and Tribal Community Initiative at a Democratic Candidate Forum today, April 15 at the Iyambito Chapter House near Gallup. The forum, hosted by DPNM Chairwoman Haaland and former New Mexico State Representative Albert Shirley and New Mexico State Representatives Patricia Lundstrom, Eliseo Alcon, and Doreen Wonda Johnson, will give the Navajo community the opportunity to meet candidates, register to vote, and learn more about the 2016 election. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Secretary of State Candidate Maggie Toulouse Oliver and Second Congressional District Candidate Merrie Lee Soules will be in attendance.
