Citing her strong record as a champion for our children’s education and her decades-long commitment to her community, United States Senator Martin Heinrich announced today that he is endorsing Elizabeth Thomson in her reelection campaign for the 24th State House District.
“Long before she ever ran for political office, Elizabeth was a leader in our community,” Senator Heinrich said. “For 26 years, she has committed herself to the health and wellbeing of our school children and has spent nearly two decades as the director of the New Mexico Autism Society. In Santa Fe, she has consistently voted to invest in our public schools, improve public safety and crack down on corruption. Elizabeth has the dedication, courage and know-how that we need from our elected representatives.”
“I am honored to receive the support of Senator Heinrich,” Thomson said. “In New Mexico we are working to create a community that fosters economic growth and where families want to raise their children. In the state legislature I will fight for to make sure that New Mexico is a state where our working families flourish.”
