DPNM hosted an Education Forum in Las Cruces on Saturday that featured Democratic state legislators, the American Federation of Teachers, The National Education Association and Voices for Children.
This well attended forum, held at NMSU was the second in a series of forums sponsored by the Democratic Party of New Mexico that focuses on issues that matter to New Mexico families.
“Nothing is more important for New Mexicans than having a good job and a world class education. Today we heard Democrats and independent voices speak out and share what is possible to improve education in New Mexico, today, right now,” stated Chairman Sam Bregman.
“Governor Martinez is failing our kids every day. Democrats are ready with ideas and solutions to give our kids a world class education. That’s part of our commitment to build the future.”
