This weekend we gather to celebrate America’s veterans, those men and women that have stepped up and said yes to their country.
We owe a debt of thanks and gratitude to all veterans for showing us what service to one’s country means and for also sharing their experiences and their courage with all of us.
President Obama summed it up last year: “When one of us falters, we lift them up. In this country we take care of our own—especially our veterans who have served so bravely and sacrificed so selflessly in our name. And we carry on, knowing that our best days always lie ahead.”
On Monday, November 11 at 11 AM, please be silent for one minute and say thank you to all the veterans that have sacrificed so much so that we can be free.
God bless the United States of America and God bless the state of New Mexico.
