Steve Pearce Votes for Default

STEVE PEARCE JOINED HIS FELLOW TEA PARTY EXTREMISTS ONCE AGAIN AND VOTED AGAINST THE INTERESTS OF HIS 2ND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT CONSTITUENTS AND ALL HARD WORKING NEW MEXICANS:

After sixteen days of the House Republican shutdown, Steve Pearce joined his fellow Tea Party extremists and voted to continue the shutdown and, and for the first time in over two centuries, for the United States to default on its’ debt obligations, jeopardizing the economic well being of all Americans, the full faith and credit of the nation, and the leadership of the United States in the world.

The House voted 285-144 to end the shutdown and debt crisis. Every Democratic member of Congress voted yes to end the shutdown. Steve Pearce voted no.
